To start of the art of litter training!! You need a couple of things to begin, to start of patience! You'll need a cage, a litter box I prefer a High backed on that is easy for them to back into! You will want to attach it to the cage, because they like to tip things! Put about a half an inch to three-fourths of an inch of litter in the pan cover the cage bottom with some other cloth, or bedding, and he might use the box on his own! Hopefully! If he misses, or you catch him in the act outside the pan put him into the box. If their is poop outside the pan place it in the pan and freshen the spot so he doesn't go there again. So the pan smells like a bathroom, and the rest of his cage isn't. Good Luck!!! Slinkey is a nine month old sable who is the sweetest ferret I have ever met, he wouldn't bite you if you tried to make him, and he is curious as all get out! Boo is a nine week old albino who is still teething, He isn't really a biter though he loves to play, and is sort of a nut! Some treats I suggest are of course store treats, raisons, sliced up pieces of fruit in their food occassionally, Peanuts, Peanut Butter, and assorted meats as because ferrets are carnivores Five common ferret names are Bandit, Slinkey, Pogo, Taz, and Sable | |||||||||||||||||||||||

Ferrets love to play and if your not dedicated enough to be there for them, I suggest not getting one, but if you have the will you are in for the biggest treat of your life |
